Colleen's promotion party

Colleen's highly anticipated promotion party was a success. I had doubts about throwing a party at Ed's bar, since it's so in the middle of nowhere. But I had a great time. And there was a decent turn out. But, as with every party, there are going to be people who don't show up. What really gets me is the people who said "Yes I'll DEFINITELY be there" but then never showed up. They didn't even get ahold of Colleen to say sorry I didn't make it. What the fuck?? Anyway, the party was a success, there was plenty of stuff for people to do. I lost many quarters playing dice, but kicked ass at darts. The free shots of Hot Sex were nice also. Me, Colleen, and most of her Blockbuster people stayed til close then went over to Ed's house for a bonfire (yes, in November). The large fire was sufficient enough to keep warm. Colleen even took off her coat which must have meant she was really wasted because she gets cold all year round. Me and Sam took a little road trip to Lake Geneva to get gas station burritos. Back at the bonfire, Ed decided to jump on top of a flaming board which teetered back and forth. This was of course after one of the party goers decided it was a good idea to put one of Ed's plastic lawn chairs in the fire. To end the night on a good note, Sara decided to burn the jacket she was wearing, which was her ex-boyfriend's (they just broke up that night). Under normal circumstances, I would have dissaproved of the coat burning. It was a pretty decent coat. But considering her ex-boyfriend is an ass, I was all for it. The party dispersed and we returned home around 6am.
