I was at Jewel last night picking up some groceries. I went to checkout and there was a big basket right above the checkout line that was suspended from the ceiling. It contained tons of helium filled ballons. The ribbons from the balloons hung down right over the line, right at face level. This meant that as I was loading my purchases onto the conveyor belt, the ends of ribbons where constantly hitting my face and neck. It was so annoying. If I happened to have a pair of scissors, I would have cut all the ends off. Damn balloons.
