Went to see the Shanghai Circus yesterday at the Genesse Theatre in Waukegan. The show was very entertaining. We were planning to eat somewhere afterwards, so we browsed through the program for a local restaurant. We decided to go with Chinese food to keep with the day's theme. In the program we saw an advertisement for a place called Fong's in downtown Waukegan. We found it quite funny that in parenthesis it said "formerly Kong's". We were curious why they would change their name from Kong's to Fong's, so we HAD to eat there. The food was quite good, but the best part was the fact that on their takeout menus they had taken a marker and wrote an F over all the K's to change it to Fong's. We had to take some menus as souvenirs.
