I was delivering pizzas last night and I was in the store, just finished clocking out. That was when another employee ran in from outside and said "Man someone just hit your car!" I ran outside and discovered that someone had, in fact, backed out of a parking spot and hit the left corner of my bumper. It scraped it up, popped it out a little, and cracked the tail light as well. The other vehicle pulled back into a spot and waited for the police to come.

If I would have gotten clocked out 20 seconds earlier, I would have gotten away before I was backed into. But instead, I had to wait around for nearly 45 minutes until a cop got there. He was driving a "Community Service Vehicle" and looked like he just graduated high school. He took a while to fill out the report. I didn't really say anything to the guy who hit me. He sat in the car with his kids most of the time. He did, however, apologize to me after the cop filled out the report. I accepted his apology.

I was quite pleased by the other guy's insurance company. They called me the very next day and sent out an adjuster to my workplace to give an estimate about an hour later. Very good service. Now I just need to get my car into a body shop.
