Papa Johns feeling the economic crunch

Yes, even the Grayslake Papa Johns is not immune to today's withering economy.  They have taken several measures to save money. Lately, they have seemed in a "more than usual" rush to send employees home as soon as the rush dies down. I guess that's pretty standard for a lot of businesses.

What's not so standard is the fact that our General Manager transferred to a different store at the end of October, and that he will not be replaced. The District Manager, Crispin, has stepped in to take over the store. I guess why pay another salary when you can just make Crispin do it? This doesn't really affect me so much, he's pretty cool so I don't mind. But it's gotta suck to be him since his work responsibilities have pretty much doubled.

Other "money saving" techniques around the store include password protecting the thermostat so no one can adjust it. Even unscrewing some lightbulbs to save on electricity.
